She attributes her success to her hard work and the strong work ethic instilled in her from a very young age by her parents.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession when she took classes in computer science. The field of computer technology intrigued her and she has stayed in this one field for over 20 years. At the time she entered the computer technology field, there were very few females working as computer specialists and now there are more females than males. She has witnessed the progression from rooms full of tape-driven systems to computer servers for the storage and manipulation of data.

Ms. Bartron is a professional technologist specializing in database creation and maintenance. She maintains a database containing more than 4,000 records for the WV Health Sciences and Technology Academy (HSTA) students, program graduates, teachers, staff, and local governing board members. Many of our program graduates are practicing doctors and nurses. She is a skilled presenter and public speaker at the national and state level. She has 11-plus years teaching adult learners.
