Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession after she was offered a job in recruiting, while having no plans to get into the industry. She found a niche and succeeded immediately. She was then invited to the corporate office to discuss the success she was bringing to the company and the rest is history.

In five years, Ms. Sheppard plans to establish a women's center where women can meet one another, network and have a place to get training. She also plans to continue with and do more speaking engagements for women and colleges and universities on how to start a small business and discuss small business needs. She will continue to share her story, coach and mentor.
