Mr. Rambo’s unique set of attributes and his ability to balance all points of view, and reduce a complicated project or problem to simple terms in order to find better solutions separate him from others.
Expanded Biography:
Mr. Rambo told himself that if he was ever given the opportunity to manage people that he would do just the opposite of their style and it worked. Two life changing events for him were meeting James Autry, the chief executive officer of Meredith Corporation, in Des Moines, and reading his book and loving it. He also fondly recalls hearing a speech of Dr. Charlene Bell at a crossroads telling him to make sure his star and light shined through. In his last 12 years at National Travelers Life Company, he was referred to as the user friendly actuary.

Some of the most notable moments in his career were becoming the vice president of an insurance company at the age of 28 and obtaining his master of business administration at the age of 52.
