Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession through her interest in dance. She spent time with other genres of music, but the energy and style of Latin dance and music immediately drew her in. She began participating in social dances, performing at salsa congresses and private events, playing the flute in Charanga Agoza, and listening to live salsa bands. She is happy to share her experiences with others and hopes to continue to grow the dance community.
Extended Bio Profile:
Before joining Los Sabrosos, Ms. Simpson served as an IT consultant for the state of Wisconsin, a project manager for Epic Systems, Inc., and a reporter and writer for the Luther College Office of Public Information. In July 2007, she served as an associate director for the Boxwood Festival.
