Extended Bio Profile:
I have worked for the federal government for 32 years, including for four years of service in the U.S. Navy. I began my work for the U.S. Department of Defense as one of many temporary employees in the "rework shop," and was the only temporary person retained after an internal reorganization. In my work repairing aircraft, I have removed and replaced engine pylons and intakes, and separated the planes into three sections in order to replace the entire center wing section. In one instance, when an aircraft had sustained very bad fire damage, I came up with a number of ideas to prolong the life of the aircraft. This sort of talent runs in my family, as my grandfather had a P.H.D. in mechanical enineering, and was the head of the engineering department at Otis Elevator, and contributed to the design and mechanics of both the elevator and the escalator. I am currently in the process of obtaining a patent for my invention, The No Smoke-Smoke, which allows a person to smoke a cigarette without emitting smoke and therefore not polluting others. I am also a proud father and grandfather, with three daughters and two granddaughters, and two grandsons.
