Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
Ms. Clark began her career as a software engineer supporting a variety of Federal government and Defense agencies. Soon after Ms. Clark progressed to managing multiple global programs each in excess of $100M.

All the while, elements of business development were threaded throughout her technical career. Discovering she had a natural ability and affinity for business development, she soon made the shift to focusing her efforts solely on developing marketing strategies aimed at increasing business in the federal market space.
Extended Bio Profile:
Linda Clark is president and CEO of Caspar Group. Caspar Group was established when Linda recognized the need for a service in the market place that provided not just basic pipeline development and marketing, but a hybrid approach of the two combined with strategic planning and follow through with capture management for optimum business growth success. Throughout her extensive business development and technology career, Linda has been characterized by her ability to craft client relationships and new sales strategies that have consistently increased client satisfaction, while maximizing revenue opportunity. Her strengths in team building and employee motivation have resulted in a strong track record of client renewals and win after win of highly coveted services and technology contracts.

Before establishing Caspar Group, Ms. Clark served as vice president of Homeland Security and Civilian Programs for Virginia-based ICF International, where she led the marketing and business development initiatives. Linda employed a “marketing-by-the-numbers” philosophy where ROI drove the strategy. She was known for her ability to identify and attract key talent, for building teams that are focused on and accountable for marketing-driven revenue. Prior to ICF, Linda held senior business development positions with Accenture, Harris and CACI.

Before shifting her focus to business development, Linda held several executive-level management roles with responsibility and oversight for operations that included financial, human resource, and contract management. Oversight responsibilities included contract engagements for information technology and services initiatives for a variety of Federal government agencies: Department of Homeland Security, Department of State, U.S. Agency for International Development, Department of Justice, Environmental Protection Agency, and U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. Ms. Clark’s experience also includes managing programs for commercial clients as well.
