Mr. Scanlan worked for several years in Washington, DC for an American Samoa member of congress. He worked for him as chief of staff for 12 years. He has been extremely active in politics in his entire career and has never missed a Democratic National Convention since 1988. He has personally met both Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. He is also an active musician, who owns both a recording company and a production company. He has clients from Europe and Asia. He is proud of his years of experience in the tourism business.
