She became involved in her profession after undergoing a traumatic life transition which led to her coming down with a case of hives, for which a classmate suggested low-level laser treatment, a therapeutic practice that she was familiar with as she was exposed to laser usage through her parents' occupations as engineers.

Ms. Danneman is the author of 'Chicken Soup for the Mother's Soul 2,' 'Calm Mother' and 'Triumph of the 12 Apostles of Jesus' which were published in 2007. She also produced 'Charly' in 2002 and 'The Best Two Years...' in 2004. She will be the associate producer of 'Wild Stallion' which will be released in 2010.
