Throughout the duration of your career, what was the one highlight that stood out the most?:
The highlight of her career was bringing the operating room into the 21st century when she became the OR director. With the help of her staff, they began by improving processes following AORN standards of care, and improving outcomes for patients. Their greatest accomplishment was implementing the operating room management application that streamlined documentation, charging, providing electronic record for operative procedures, and controlling inventory. Ms. Leonard's staff has done a great job working with her to make the program work.

She became involved in her profession because she has always liked to help people. She loves working with patients, helping them through their surgery, and seeing their outcomes especially in orthopedics.
