Taking care of all administrative work; Marketing; Networking with other professional organizations; Making a connection with parents who have special needs children; Using a slide scale to determine for each family individually; Overseeing curriculum; Getting teachers started; Managing business and financial responsibilities, such bank deposits; Having connections with the community and other nonprofit organizations; Reviewing past records of students; Placing students for appropriate curriculum; Ensuring the classroom is appropriate for special needs students, incorporating different materials, and using tools based on criteria; Addressing touch issues, students with motor skill issues, and students with adhesive issues; Individualizing every student's curriculum according to their capabilities and disabilities
