Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because her family members are involved in the medical field as doctors, dentists, nurses, healers of animals people and the land. She was taught from birth that she was to be a healer who was gifted as a child by her parents, grandparents, extended family and her community.
She is a clinical nurse specialist in psychiatric mental health, a marriage and family therapist, and has a background in advanced studies in cultural and medical anthropology, plus religious studies, transactional analysis, bioenergetics, trainer, educator, practitioner, psychodrama, sociometry, group psychotherapy, and Gestalt.

Ms. Barclay began her work 30 years ago. She has experience in marriage and family therapy. She is a healer in two Native American traditions: Lakota and Cherokee. Her work is very integrative and enables therapists and others who study with her to follow their hearts, pursue their dreams and believe in themselves as agents of change.
