She became involved in her profession through her interest in the process of education. She was an art major in Germany, taught GED courses to the military, and earned a master's degree in early childhood special education.

Dr. Williams is an energetic, enthusiastic and accomplished educator with highly developed interpersonal and problem-solving abilities. She has developed superior learning environments for students, and created an innovative curriculum to address student needs and requirements. She joined South University two months ago. Previously, she was the associate director of academic affairs at the University of Phoenix.

In five years, Dr. Williams hopes to have established a mature campus. She intends to watch the school and its students grow.
