Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. O'Rear has taught history, economics and English for thirty-two years at the Corpus Christi Public School System. After her retirement, she worked as an adjunct professor for six years at the Texas A&M University of Kingsville and Del Mar College, where she taught the United States history survey from primitives through the civil war and from reconstruction to the present. She has completed her book entitled, 'Storm Over the Bay: The People of Corpus Christi and Their Port 1909-1926,' which is to be published by A&M Press.
