What Does He/She Attribute Success To:
She attributes her success to her mentors, personal drive, and never settling with just doing her job. Her mother and father also instilled in her persistence and a sense of pride in her work so that she could have better than what they could provide, combined with her own personal drive to be successful in life. She is also able to adapt to change, which is a component of the culture at Dell, and a key attribute of the leaders at the company that helps them to address changes with the employees.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her current profession after serving nine years in the U.S Army, to include working with the FBI. She found her job with Dell while working on her degree, and has stayed with Dell due to her enjoyment of the people and the culture of the company.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Flynn spent nine years in the military and traveled to many countries as a linguist. She joined Dell 12 years ago, starting as an outbound phone agent. She eventually worked her way up through the company to director.

Making phone calls with India and Europe to manage projects; Directing project managers to stay on task; Traveling in order to have face-to-face conversations to grow the business
