Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
He became involved in his profession after spending four years in the U.S. military and nine years in the reserves; he later began to do work building search and rescue teams for the sheriff's department and various other agencies until he was hired by the federal government.
Extended Bio Profile:
Mr. Allen's involvement in helping people and making a difference during 9-11 is something that will be with him forever. He was in the Pentagon four hours prior the plane hitting the building. He has six years of experience as a senior executive in federal services and private industry. He built and managed two security services companies employing 1,400 professional personnel working on numerous U.S. government contracts, located in nine states and Washington, DC including: military installations, hydroelectric dams, one EPA Superfund site and two Department of Homeland Security/ICE detention centers. They provided force protection and law enforcement consulting to U.S. Department of Defense, and managed an in depth, classified security and manpower assessment for the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia. He has more than 20 years of law enforcement, security, intelligence and military leadership and management. He was an intelligence supervisor on a U.S. Army special forces team, deputy sheriff, drug investigator, special tactics team leader, and search and rescue team leader. He retired from federal service May 2007.
