What Does He/She Attribute Success To:
She attributes her success to keeping things simple and being prepared for anything.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because in high school, she thought she was supposed to become a minister, but she did not feel she was suited for the position. She went to school for elementary education and music education, as her mother was also an elementary school music teacher. While teaching, she felt called to spread the word about Jesus. This prompted her to resign from her education career, and the next day, she was given an anonymous donation for a mission to Yugoslavia.

She has traveled through a great deal of western and eastern Europe, Russia, parts of Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Mexico, Brazil, Canada, Australia, and most of the United States. In 1986, she even participated in a bike ride across the country called Backroads America. During this time, she also performed gospel music; she dubbed this experience the "Crossroads America Glory Ride.” She has sung and ministered in 42 countries, including through Battlefield Ministries to soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Ms. Brown has been involved with the U.S. Army and was named an honorary distinguished member of the 502nd Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division after going to Iraq in 2003.
