She became involved in her profession because she started her career at the entry level of the oil industry and progressed into her current position.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Taylor was the first woman to become the chief inspector, and then the area chief inspector at Mustang Engineering, L.P., which contracted to the Devon Energy Corporation, the world's largest independent oil and gas explorer and producer. She is an American Indian of the Muskogee Nation Tribe. She took a 10-hour course concerning the Construction Safety and Health Act. The pivotal point in her career was when the Superintendent of Construction with Devon Gas Services, L.P. George Hutton gave her the opportunity to take the position of Area Chief Inspector, in 2006. For the past nine years she has been with Devon. She achieved the experience of coordination of all degrees of building many hundreds of pipelines and thousands of feet and many miles in the past nine years. Those achievements where surely conquered by hard work the ability to work with many team members and accomplish the end goal of laying pipelines for transport of natural gas.

Overseeing All New Construction Projects, Assigning them to Inspectors, Compiling Work Orders on Preliminary Drawings and the Line Pipe, Coordinating with the Drafting Department, Ordering line pipe, Assisting the Contractor and Inspectors the Bore Profiles After Obtaining Permits for Road and Waterway Crossings, Coordinating the Best Routes for the Pipelines, Coding and Checking Construction Invoices, Filing, Assisting the Construction Foreman and Inspectors
