She became involved in her profession because she was inspired by her father, who was an opthomologist and also was an illustrator for his medical facility.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Girard developed her skills by accepting commissions to hand paint porcelain ashtrays and porcelain miniatures for Hermes and Portault. She was dedicated to and comfortable with oil painting. She was surprised when fellow artist and interior decorator, Mark Hampton, inspired her to watercolor. She was also named as the Dame of Brigando Galvez of the 18th century, which was ordered by the King and Queen of Spain in 2008.
