Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Assisting in the interpretation Nursing Practice Act, rules, and other applicable laws to the public; Assisting with the development and revision of position statements, guidelines, interpretive statements, and internal policies and procedures related to nursing practice and continuing education; Developing and conducting board workshops and online education; Acting as a resource to enforcement staff of practice-related investigations; Providing testimony as expert witness on Nursing Practice Act, rules, disciplinary sanction policies, and minimum standards of care before the State Office of Administrative Hearings or in other legal proceedings where such representation is needed
