She attributes her success to her own personal connection with source energy and her eagerness to explore the mysteries of life.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession after coming out of a 12 year marriage, having had the first-hand experience of being a single parent while simultaneously attending graduate school in social work, and working a full-time job. She was able to triumph over these obstacles with the help of counseling and spiritual guidance that were not of a traditional nature.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Greene is a visionary, landscape photographer, spiritual teacher, energy worker, editor, author, poet, support group facilitator, holistic counselor, workshop creator and presenter, parenting educator, Level-1 Qigong instructor, and ordained minister. She is a published author of two books (“Soothing the Heart” which features some of her own landscape photography and “America's Black Self-made Millionaires and Their Secrets to Success,” co-authored with John Raye and Thomas Bonaparte), and a journal article in Social Work, the premiere journal for the National Association of Social Workers. She served as lead editor for Black Business Houston Magazine for three years and co-editor for the Association of Black Social Workers, Houston Chapter Newsletter for 10 years. Nonprofit organization that is a resource center of practitioners, researchers, and organizations who aim to provide a more holistic approach to those who seek personal empowerment. Her approach is to assist individuals in the achievement of true harmony between one's mind, body and soul, and to expand this concept to working with families, communities, organizations and the world for the betterment of the human race. Her goal is not to promote sameness, but to help advance the idea of allowance of all life in whatever manner it is expressed.
