She attributes her success to her drive, ability to overcome the obstacles of being a struggling migrant student, and the loving support of her husband, Refugio, and her sons, Hipolito Xavier and Eleazar.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because she is the oldest of 12 children, so she grew up teaching her younger siblings.
