The most gratifying aspects of his career are seeing medically ill elderly people keeping their faith in God and showing their will to others, and being able to have a personal relationship with his patients as opposed to simply being their doctor; he wants them to feel comfortable and nurtured, never rushed.

He attributes his success to his faith in God, and the support he receives from his parents, his late mother and his father Mr. Wesley E. Ray.

He became involved in his profession because he wanted to help others as his physician helped him when he was sick as a child.
Extended Bio Profile:
Dr. Ray is working as a chief medical resident and also teaches staff at The University of Tennessee. Ten percent of Dr. Ray's practice is performed on a pro bono basis for senior citizens without insurance to cover their medical care.

Visiting Inpatients in the Hospital and Outpatients at Heritage Medical Associates for Medical Issues Including Diabetes, Hypertension, Pneumonia and Other Acute and Chronic Conditions
