Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because she was always around education; her next door neighbor was a principal and her high school assistant principal was extremely influential. She was also a professional musician for 10 years and is passionate about education.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Running the freshman academy, which includes 549 students who take core classes in mathematics, science, English and social studies; Serving as assistant principal and head of curriculum and scheduling; Communicating curriculum changes to the teachers and others who need to know; Scheduling 2165 students each year; Overseeing ninth grade discipline
