Ms. Thomas has been employed at Greenville Technical College since July of 1992. Prior to teaching at Greenville Technical College, she was a computer systems analyst for DHEC and the State Budget and Control Board, Columbia SC. In 1996, the college implemented an online program and she was one of the first instructors to develop and teach one of the six courses for non-traditional learning. Ms. Thomas was born in Greenwood County and grew up in a small town of Ware Shoals, SC. Her husband is originally from Philadelphia, PA and they have been married for 25 years. He works for International Paper.
