Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because she was fascinated by how the human body works, particularly on the microscopic level. She also finds it very rewarding to assume a critical role in patient diagnosis and care.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Operating as a generalist in all areas in the laboratory; Reviewing quality control to ensure accuracy of results; Calibrating analytes on instrumentation; Analyzing samples, evaluating results, and performing further tests when needed; Troubleshooting and maintaining laboratory equipment and computerized instrumentation; Communicating with nurses and physicians regularly to aid in diagnosis and treatment of patients; Maintaining a high level of accuracy under all circumstances
