Her perspective of aging throughout generations should be respected for their maturity and wealth of knowledge gleaned from experiences. As a patient advocate from the perspective of a perioperative nurse, she is able to recognize the patients' and families' need for information and assistance in coping with the surgical experience. In addition to expanding her nursing career, she has remained a patient advocate by incorporating her nursing education into the role of the legal nurse consultant acting as a liaison between two independent fields, law and nursing. She has learned personally and professionally that it's important to keep a positive attitude, remain confident in making selections and maintain faith in a successful outcome. She has worked as a certified nursing assistant at a nursing home.
