She became involved in her profession after forming a close relationship with her dance instructor and becoming inspired to open her own studio.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Agovino is celebrating her 27th year of dancing and being a role model and valuable friend. She opened her first studio in southwest Philadelphia at the age of 19, and it was a well-known business throughout the area. For 30 years, her dance studio was an inspiration to hundreds of young students who walked through her doors. 'Miss Kathi,' as she is affectionately known, hosts benefit performances for charity.
