She became involved in her profession through her interest in music, desire to work with children and willingness to learn about individuals with disabilities.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Maholic takes the approach that every day is a fresh start in her teaching techniques. Prior to her current position, Ms. Maholic worked as an instrumental music teacher for 15 years. She then took an educational sabbatical to pursue an additional field of study in special education and began working in special education in the summer of 2006. She currently teaches sixth-grade students with specific learning disabilities in an inclusion setting.
