Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Coordinating the Delivery of Contract Services for a Designated Number of Facilities within a District, Supervising Personnel, Utilizing Available Resources, Adhering to Budget Restrictions, Coordinating and Assisting with the Implementation of Health Services Agreements, Working Closely with the Regional Medical Director to Implement Medical Programs within the District, Liaising between Program Managers and Regional Administration, Attending Meetings as Required, Preparing, Analyzing and Managing the Financial Performance of the District, Investigating Budget Variances and Providing Cost-Saving Methods for Performance Improvements, Establishing Salary Scales in Accordance with Site budgets and Approval by the Regional Vice President, Acting as a Mentor and Resource Person for Program Managers, Participating in Performance Reviews and Disciplinary Processes for Program Managers within the District, Negotiating Provider Contracts and Identifying Resources which Could be Shared with Other Sites in the District, Coordinating Human Resource Management with the Corporate Office and Program Managers, Supervising the Interview and Hiring Process, Reporting Monthly to the Regional Vice President on Budget Variances, Progress on Action Plans and Pertinent Changes Affecting the Contract, Exercising Discretion and Independent Judgment in Decision-Making Processes, Planning, Directing, Conserving and Controlling the Management of the District, Handling Any Unexpected Project Problems or Emergencies, Attending Operational Review Meetings at the Regional Office, Coordinating the Annual Health Services Planning Process for the District, Participating in the Development and Preparation of Annual Budgets for the District, Monitoring Compliance with Policy and Procedure Standards, Assisting with Business Development Activities including Attendance at Pre-Proposal Conferences, Requests for Proposals and Proposal Preparation, Attending Professional Conferences, Effectively Communicating with Personnel and Supervisory Staff
