The highlight of her career was being chosen to spend two weeks at the Kennedy Space Center, while the most gratifying aspects of her profession are moving students academically to become outstanding citizens in the community and make good choices in their careers to accomplish their goals.

Ms. O'Neil is an ‘Above and Beyond’ educator, sponsored by the school district for students to recommend former or current teachers that have had a lasting effect on them. She has been nominated and awarded each year for the past five years. She has a great amount of respect for her father. He worked hard in his own career and dedicated his life to his family. He taught her to go for her goals and "do it right the first time or don't do it at all;" she has applied his philosophy in everything she has done in her life and transferred that same instinct to her own children.
