He attributes his success to persistence, hard work and having a diverse background within the field of education.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
He became involved in this profession because he knew in high school that he wanted to commit his life to service and felt going into education was the best way to do that. After retirement he wanted to continue to make an impact in education and to work close to the achievement gap so he decided to start a non-profit organization dedicated to educating leaders in how to facilitate that.
