She became involved in her profession because she was a farm girl and knew she would work in either veterinary or human medicine. She got sick at age 16 and didn't like the doctor; she felt she could do the job better.

Attending to men's and women's urological issues, pelvic issues and incontinence; Offering all modalities of treatment; Keeping each patient active in his or her medical treatment; Performing pelvic reconstructions two to three times per week; Educating patients; Overseeing the Continence Center at Providence Hospital
