Ms. Edgerly's greatest career achievement was sharing with her children and family members the compassion and joy in giving aid to others. Her two daughters are registered nurses and her son, an artist, also works at the group homes.

The most gratifying aspects of her career are watching people become able to make their own decisions and life choices while maintaining individuality, and seeing the impact her homes have on their quality of life.
