She became involved in her profession after working for Disney World in Florida, she came back and changed her degree to hospitality and tourism at Oregon, and worked with different members clubs until she got a job with Hilton Garden Inn.

Working with both group and individual travelers; Handling preferred accounts; Welcoming sporting groups to the hotel; Participating in sales calls; Giving tours of the hotel; Doing outside networking; Meeting planners; Building international relationships
Where Will You Be In 5 Years:
In five years, Ms. McGuire intends to become a director of sales, maybe on a more statewide level, do more traveling and training with other hotels for prospective sales managers.
