Mr. Stirrup has done public speaking. He has prepared and presented many technical papers on CSO and SSO control and sewer modeling, and has twice been the sole presenter/lecturer for a two-day course on Combined Sewer Overflows organized by the Educational Program Innovations Centre (EPIC) in Mississauga, Ontario.

Managing projects that include environmental assessment, design, construction, combined sewer overflow and wastewater management
Golden Manhole Award, for significant participation in the operation, maintenance, design, education, training, certification, management and planning of sewer collection systems, WEAO (2011)
