She attributes her success to resiliency and patience.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because she was fascinated with the complexity of public health and nursing; public health looks at many external factors like environment, social structure of family, cultural ethnicity, wealth, job and career.
Extended Bio Profile:
She has been a nurse for 19 years, but began as a nurses' aide and progressed to a licensed practical nurse and then a RN. Through collaborative efforts, she has started two programs in local communities. She is one of four authors of a published paper on interdisciplinary care through the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy. She is a Gulf War veteran, having served four years in the U.S. Army.

In five years, Ms. Williams intends to establish a foundation to provide guidance for pregnant teens and teach the importance of a career; she sees herself as a humanitarian.
