She became involved in her profession because of the poor teaching she was exposed to as a child; teachers were not interested in being teachers. She values the importance of teachers needing to understand different learning styles.

Teaching at three different campuses; Instructing written language and reading skills for incoming freshmen; Helping the understanding of the school computer systems; Bringing writing skills up to speed; Developing vocabulary; Assisting the transition to scholarly writing
