She became involved in her profession because of her association with her neighbor, who was a special needs child and to whom she used to teach sight words and simple mathematics.

Mrs. Daar received the Jennings Scholarship in the year 2004. Her experience includes team teaching in an inclusion setting, small group instruction in the resource room and individual tutoring. Her classroom motto is, 'If you do not learn the way I teach, I must teach the way you learn'. She prides herself in instructional differentiation in order to meet the needs of all of her students.
