She became involved in her profession because her mother was a nurse; she used to shadow her mother during her rounds, and decided at a young age that she wanted to do the same kind of work.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Estle-Richardson is a registered nurse who worked for Kettering Medical Network as a home health nurse for five years before going on disability. Her daily responsibilities included calling and visiting patients, caring for patients, assessing their home environment, and providing instruction to patients and their families. Ms. Estle-Richardson dealt with cardiac issues, wound care, and intravenous antibiotics, and would make sure patients were safe and comfortable. She would sometimes have to be the liaison between the the county and her patients to make sure the patients were completely provided for.
Where Will You Be In 5 Years:
In the next five years, Ms. Estle-Richardson would like to teach nursing students.
