She attributes her success to her enormous drive and desire to accomplish. She set five- and 10-year goals for herself, and has made deliberate decisions to reach these goals.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession after her son was born. She returned to working for a local emergency shelter for homeless women and children, and felt that bringing education to these residents would improve their situations. She wanted to help this population of people.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Helscher was born April 10th in Cincinnati, Ohio. She started her professional career after leaving an organization, were she served as the director of operations. She established an assisted living center and continued to work with the senior population. Ms. Helscher supports writing endeavors, especially for the youth, such as camps.

Where Will You Be In 5 Years:
In five years, Ms. Helscher hopes to become a novelist, reach out to young writers, particularly girls, and show them that they can accomplish their dreams.
