Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
He became involved in his profession because he has always been interested in investment banking and business planning. In addition, he witnessed many instances in which his family members and friends suffered the profound consequences of poor life insurance and retirement planning, and wanted to use his skills to prevent other people from experiencing the same kinds of difficulty.

Recognizing that many business owners and individual breadwinners procrastinate or are reluctant to implement appropriate financial planning decisions, Mr. Muro strongly encourages financial responsibility and delivers "the power of positive planning." He is on a mission to "protect the innocent" — usually spouses and children, but sometimes business associates — who suffer dramatically as a result of poor financial decision-making. He has received several community service awards throughout his career, with the most recent being a St. Roch's Award in 2010.
