She became involved in her profession because, when she was young, there was a great need for teachers, and she enjoys working with kids.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Kinzer has been an educator for more than 50 years, starting as an elementary teacher, college professor, school district administrator and director of a collaborative and innovative teacher for preparatory programs. In the 1970s, Dr. Kinzer was on the faculty at the University of Florida and was one of only three individuals to be recognized as a Teacher of the Year. She is currently finishing up her work with the Panasonic Education Foundation as a consultant.
