Prior to Nov 2011 title and Duties-Vice President, Global Production Support Manager Serving as a liaison for global business unit leaders; Reporting to executive teams on a weekly and monthly basis regarding incident metrics and statistical trends; Defining team objectives and priorities; Improving time to resolve one-day-old tickets from 40 percent to 54 percent, and one-week-old tickets from 70 percent to 82 percent; Reducing risk by introducing proactive automatic and manual monitoring of disclosure-related feeds; Implementing ITRS as a monitoring tool; Optimizing the data load for a key distribution-related readership project; Automating the download process for vendor documents; Minimizing outages by developing and implementing automatic disk space cleanup scripts on multiple servers; Engineering activities to transition an underachieving Australia-based support function to the organization’s historically proven unit based in Hong Kong
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsibilities:
The principal responsibilities are expected to include:
• Provide recommendations to management regarding the programs of responsibility. Negotiate appropriate resolutions to technical and business problems while maintaining internal and external relationships
• Assists with the publication of executive reports
• Conduct analyses to identify gaps in Testing Process
• Take a supporting role in facilitating the Business Continuity Management Testing Program working with business departments to understand test objectives, scope and ensure that Test scripts and results are adequately documented
• Assist in Assessing the business continuity implications of proposed technological or organizational changes, and coordinating any revisions or procedures resulting from such changes
• Assist in driving visibility throughout the organization on programs and departmental responsibilities; Influence business and technical leaders to support the strategic direction as outlined by the executive management team.
• Support management team in response to Regulatory or Audit commitment
