Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Kearns was honored at West Virginia University. She is also a cancer survivor. Her lifelong experience in travel started in 1963, while she was working as an air-stewardess for British Airways, appearing in 'The Golden Age of Flying,' which was released in spring of 2009. She then married Frank M. Kearns, CBS foreign correspondent and later professor of journalism at WVU. She ran an interior design shop specializing in linens before eventually returning to New York to run a bed and breakfast, catering and flower arranging business. She attended Sharkey Institute in Denver, became its headmaster in 1996 and retired in 2008. She has traveled the world and wants to share her enthusiasm with others.
