She became involved in her profession after working with her father who was a writer, and a community leader renowned all over Latin America.
Extended Bio Profile:
Mrs. Resnick dedicated her professional life to international social work. She is an international guest speaker at many universities in the United States and abroad. She was a professor of social work at Latin American Universities. When she came to the United States from Argentina, aside from teaching, she was a research associate at the International Association of Schools of Social Work, and special consultant to the United Nations Social Development Section. She is an active participant in international conferences and has produced many significant papers on Latin America Social Welfare. She is the co-author of 'The World Guide to Social Work Education' which was published by the New York team of the International Association of Schools of Social Work in 1974. She is also the author of 'Indigenization of Social Work: Conscientization and Social Work in Chile' which is her unpublished doctoral dissertation, Yeshiva University in 1976. She was the project director of the 'Intercountry Adoptions between the United States and Colombia,' which was co-authored with Gloria Munoz de Rodriquez, New York: ISS in 1982. She delivered a speech on 'International Affairs and the Job Market' at Seton Hall University on March 18, 2009.
