She became involved in her profession because she originally wanted a part time job, she went to school for data processing and got recruited for health information. She was then hired here and it became a full time job.

Ms. Sparks is retired from the military. She was in the air force for 24 years, where she served as a medic, recruit nurses, and a flight supervisor.

Handling medical records, admissions, transfers, and coding; Reviewing the medical records of everyone who is admitted
