Dr. Rafat has delivered presentation on 'Surgical Wound Closure Following Digital Arthroplasties – Simple Suture Technique vs. The Sub-Cuticular Suture Technique With Application of Steri-Strips' at the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons in 2004 Annual Meeting. He is the primary author of various books entitled 'Basal Cell Carcinoma: A Review and Report of a Rare Advanced Case Presenting in the Sole of the Foot' with Maria A. Rokkas, DPM, Payam Rafat, DPM and Enrico Caprioni, DPM, FACFAS, 'The Relationship of Synostosis of the Middle and Distal Phalanx of the Fifth Digit with Symptomatology of the Fourth Interspace' and was presented at the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons in 1998 Annual Meeting and 'Podiatric Communication via the Internet' and it is presented at the 1997 American Public Health Association Meeting. He has also presented seminars on an alternative dispersion pad for the reduction of high pressure areas beneath diabetic neuropathic submetatarsal ulcers at the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons in 1999 Annual Meeting.
