He became involved in his profession because he always wanted to become a teacher and was recommended by his high school principal to enroll in a teachers training college.
Extended Bio Profile:
Dr. Uzozie received a postgraduate scholarship from the federal government of Nigeria and the United Kingdom senior academic staff fellowship. He has been heralded by two of his colleagues as both a "productive member of his department," as well as an "instrumental component of the department of social and behavioral sciences." His research focuses mainly on agricultural geography of the humid tropics, and he has published a number of articles in books and journals.
