The highlight of his career was working with the inner city junior golf program; he enjoyed having the opportunity to provide counseling to students during trips to the driving range and in other great settings.

He attributes his success to his willingness to try different things and ability to look at issues in different ways.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
He became involved in his profession because of his positive experience training high-school seniors to be peer group counselors. In this program, Mr. Boo worked under the guidance of Dr. Wayne Dyer, the internationally renowned author.
Extended Bio Profile:
Mr. Boo was for many years a school psychologist in New York City. He developed particular expertise in psychoanalysis during a sabbatical at Adelphi University, during which he worked under the supervision of five different psychoanalysts. He is particularly proud to have served for seven years as the program director for New York City's Inner City Junior Golf Program, which provided him with wonderful ways to connect with students. Now retired, Mr. Boo volunteers his time at a North Carolina school for autistic children and visits patients at a local hospice. He also enjoys traveling, and cites scenic San Miguel, located in central Mexico at an altitude of 6,500 feet, as one of his favorite destinations. Mr. Boo is also the author of "Buffalo Wings and Beer for the Soul," an 85-page book for men that centers on love, marriage, children, and the circle of life; it was published in 2004.(author house,amazon.com)
