She became involved in her profession because of the experience she gained as a nurse in the United States Air Force.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Knight's favorite quote comes from Eleanor Roosevelt, who said 'No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.' She always wanted to be a nurse and help women who were having babies. She advises other nurses to always reach for their highest goal, whether it was for additional education or a certification. She was always inspired by seasoned nurse midwives, and always sought them out for their informative, and sometimes humorous stories. She considers her most outstanding accomplishment to date serving as a flight commander while she was stationed at the United States Air Force Academy.
